ABOUT OUR TAGS

Are your Bag Tags real Leather?
Our tags are made from premium faux leather chosen for durability, clean engraving results, and long-lasting wear. It also offers a cruelty-free alternative while still looking and feeling high-quality.

How Durable are your tags? Will they Survive Travel?
Yes - our tags are designed to handle everyday use, including rough airport and baggage handling. The engraving is permanent, scratch resistant and won't fade or rub off.

What comes in a pack?
All tags are sold as 2-packs, giving you better value and a matching pair for your luggage, school bags, sports gear, or equipment. Every pack comes with 2x hoops to attach your tag to your bag!

CUSTOMISATION & ENGRAVING

How do I customise my tag?
Simply click the Customise button on any product and use our online designer to add your name, phone number, address or select an image from our online gallery. You can also flip the tag inside the customiser to design both sides.

Can I upload my own logo or image?
At the moment you will need to contact us to upload your own image, there are a few limitations when it comes to laser engraving so send us a query and we'll get back to you ASAP

What type of files do you accept?
PNG, JPG, SVG and most common image formats will work

Is there a limit on how much text I can add?
You can add any text that fits inside the safe engraving area. If something doesn't fit or risks engraving poorly, you'll get a visual warning inside the customiser.

Is the engraving permanent?
Yes - the engraving is burned into the material and will not peel, wash off, or fade.

ORDERS, PACKS & BULK OPTIONS

Do you offer single tags instead of 2-packs?
At this stage, all tags are sold as 2-packs only

Do you offer bulk, school, team or business orders?
Absolutely. We supply schools, sports teams, corporates and clubs. Contact us for bulk pricing and logo engraving options!

SHIPPING & DELIVERY

How long does delivery take?
NZ Domestic delivery is usually 2-4 business days once the tag has been made and dispatched

How long does it take to make the tag?
We aim to have the tag completed and ready for dispatch within 24hrs of receiving the order. Please note larger orders may require extra time to complete. You'll be notified of any delays once you've placed your order.

How much is shipping?
We have a flat $8.50 shipping fee.

RETURNS & GUARANTEE

Can I return personalised items?
Because each tag is custom-engraved, we cannot accept change of mind returns.

What if there's a mistake or issue with my order?
If your tag arrives damaged, incorrect, or not as expected, we'll replace it immediately at no cost - just reach out and we'll aim to get it sorted ASAP. Bagtags NZ is not responsible for correcting your spelling errors made whilst customising your order, it's important to ensure you double check all spelling before you place the order.

PRODUCT CARE

How do I clean my faux leather tag?
Wipe gently with a damp cloth. Avoid harsh solvents or alcohol based cleaners as they may affect the material.

Can the tag get wet?
Yes - the tags are fine with normal exposure to rain, splashes or travel wear. Just avoid fully submerging them in water for long periods of time
